Picture Taking Tips
Use 35mm 100 or 200 ASA. Digital cameras are also becoming popular.
Take the photos within 3-4 hours after sunrise or within 3-4 hours before sunset.
Take photos with the sun to your back as much as possible.
Take a ¾ front shot with all interior shades up with a natural background.
Take a direct side shot with a natural background. Avoid other planes in the photo.
Take a shot of the back seats or cabin that is clear of any loose items, with seat belts neatly stowed, with any desks opened up, and with all curtains or window treatments the same. Large areas may require 2 or 3 shots.
Take a shot of the instrument panel from the back seat or cabin area, so the whole panel fills the lens.
Have film developed into "4x6 glossy". Photos can also be put on a floppy disk and transmitted online directly to a Web site advertiser. Buyers want to see plane photos now! Don't make them wait for the mail.
Have 3-4 sets of photos made to mail out to those unable to view pictures online.
